Accessibility Statement

What we do, what we are still working on, and how to reach us about access issues.

1. Our commitment

Travel Websites Directory LLC is committed to making this website usable by the widest possible audience. We design and develop to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and we test against that standard as part of our regular review process.

2. What we have done

  • All informational images carry descriptive alt text.
  • Color contrast between text and background meets or exceeds WCAG AA on every page template.
  • Headings follow a logical order (one H1 per page, then H2 and H3 in sequence).
  • Focus states are visible on every interactive element.
  • The site is fully keyboard navigable.
  • The site responds to text resizing up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.
  • Forms include explicit labels and accessible error states.
  • We honor the prefers-reduced-motion preference for any animation.

3. What we are still working on

Older articles in our archive may use image markup that does not yet meet the standards described above. We are working through the archive to update these images. PDF and other downloadable documents are being reviewed for accessibility on a rolling basis.

4. Compatible technologies

The site is built and tested for compatibility with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, and with common screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

5. Limitations

Despite our best efforts, parts of the site may not be fully accessible. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can address it. Specific limitations we are aware of are listed and tracked in our internal accessibility log.

6. Reporting an issue

If something on the site is difficult to use with your assistive technology, or if you need a particular article in a different format, write to us at hello@travel-websites-directory.com. We aim to respond within five business days and to fix significant issues within 30 days.

7. Feedback and enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact your local accessibility regulator. In the United States, that is the Department of Justice; in the European Union, your national equivalent.
